FORT WORTH, Texas (AFP) - Tiger Woods, who missed last year's tournament because of knee surgery, will compete in next week's PGA Memorial tournament.
The 33-year-old Woods has one victory this year at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and he hasn't finished outside the top ten in the five other tournaments he has played.
Three weeks ago, Woods finished eighth at the Players Championship.
Woods is a three-time champion at the Memorial, winning in 2001, 2000 and 1999.
He tied for 15th in 2007, tied for third in 2005 and was solo third in 2004.
