Honma Golf of Japan has released its ML503 utility irons, the latest addition to its Beres line of women's irons.

The new Beres irons contain a large utility-style head with an ultra-wide circular arched sole.
Designed to be especially forgiving, the new irons contain a large utility-style head with an ultra-wide circular arched sole. In the case of a mis-hit, Honma officials said, the clubs hug and lift the ball to cut down on the loss of distance.

The ML503 irons feature a two-piece structure in the form of an SUS630 stainless body and a high-strength custom steel variable-thickness-face. The elongated face also contains a low profile to increase both the sweet spot and overall hitting area.

The clubs feature the Honma ARMRQ UD40 graphite shaft for women with slow to average swing speeds. They are available as an eight-piece set or can be broken into a partial set or sold as individual clubs.

The standard ML503 clubs are what company officials call a 2-Star grade, with a suggested retail price of $345 per club. Also available is the ultra-prestigious 5-Star grade, with a suggested retail price of $4,395 per club. These top-end clubs featuring P1000 platinum, 24-karatr gold embellishment and an ion-plated shaft.
