AUGUSTA, Georgia (Ticker) - Tiger Woods'' caddie incurred thewrath of Masters officials on Saturday when he worked part ofthe third round without wearing the official green tournamentcap.

According to other caddies, Steve Williams was approached by anofficial on the back nine and instructed to put the cap back on,after going hatless for several holes at Augusta National.

Williams complied and had the cap, part of the official caddieuniform at the Masters, on his head during Sunday''s final round.

"If I''ve got to wear the cap, everybody''s got to wear the cap,"said one caddie, speaking on the condition of anonymity. "Everycaddie has heard about what he did and nobody approves of it.Some of these people forget they''re just a caddie.

"It should be an honor to come to The Masters. If you don''t wantto wear a hat, don''t come. Believe it or not, the tournamentwill still go on without you."

It''s not the first time Williams has failed to follow atournament''s dress rules. Once, at the Dunlop Phoenix tournamentin Japan, where caddies also have to wear Masters-style whiteoveralls, Williams peeled them down to his waist.

Williams caddied that way for several rounds until MarkSteinberg, Woods'' manager, told him that it was disrespectful tothe tournament.
