FORT WORTH, Texas -- UST Mamiya - maker of the world's finest carbon fiber golf shafts - confirms the winner of the PGA Tour's Sony Open relied on its Proforce AXIVCore Tour Black model in his driver (69-gram, X-flex) as well as the company's Frequency Filtered Putter Shaft.
Continuing the trend of strong showings for UST Mamiya shaft users, the winner recorded four rounds in the 60s en route to a dramatic one-shot victory at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, HI. The win represents his second on the PGA Tour using both the Proforce AXIVCore Tour Black model and Frequency Filtered Putter Shaft.
