True Temper Makes History on PGA TOUR , Web.com and European Tours

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports delivered memorable wins on the world stage this week. Dynamic Gold, Project X and Grafalloy set the industry standard for state-of-the-art, high-performance golf shafts with wins at the AT&T National on the PGA Tour, United Leasing Championship on the Web.com Tour and the Irish Open on the European Tour.

The 2012 AT&T National champion made history this week with Dynamic Gold. He shot a consistent 72-68-67-69 (276) to capture his third win on the year — the most of anyone on the PGA TOUR this season — and take the lead in the FedExCup standings. But this win was even more notable as the victory moved the champion into second place on the all-time PGA TOUR win list, ahead of Jack Nicklaus and only eight wins shy of the all-time record set by Sam Snead.

Dynamic Gold and Project X teamed up to also make history on the newly renamed Web.com Tour (formerly Nationwide Tour). In the first event under the new name, the 30-year-old United Leasing Championship winner came back from a string of injuries and two surgeries to earn his third career victory. He played Project X Graphite in his driver, 3-wood and hybrid and Dynamic Gold in his irons. Meanwhile on the European Tour, the champion of the Irish Open won his first career victory and was the only player in the field to break 70 in all four rounds. He was playing Grafalloy ProLite 35 in his driver and 3-wood and Dynamic Gold in his irons.
