STOCKTON, Calif. -- Andrew Levitt of Laguna Niguel, Calif., posted a 1-under-par 71 to finish at 5-under-par 211, to claim back-to-back AJGA victories at the Stockton Sports Commission Junior Classic. In the Girls Division, Paige Spiranac of Monument, Colo., claimed her first AJGA victory after firing a final-round even-par 72 to finish at 1-over-par 217.

Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association, the Stockton Sports Commission Junior Classic was a 54-hole stroke play event held at The Reserve at Spanos Park. The tournament field featured 72 boys and 27 girls, ages 12-18, from five states, Mexico, China, Japan and Canada. The Boys Division played the par-72 course from 7,039 yards, while the Girls Division played at 6,246 yards.

Levitt began his final round hot making birdies on three of the first four holes but struggled on the back nine making bogeys on Nos. 12, 13, 14, and 15. After missing an up and down on No. 15, Levitt had to clear his head and finished strong going 1-under-par on the final three holes.

"I had to literally step away from the course and just chill out," Levitt said. "I hit it to the back of No. 16 green and my eagle chip just lipped out and I made birdie."

Tomohiro Umeyama of Mooka-City, Japan, came in second finishing with a three-day total of 2-under-par 214. Robert Jacobsen of Racine, Wis., and Ryann Ree of Redondo Beach, Calif., each finished at 1-under-par 215. Rounding out the top five, finishing with 1-over-par 217's were Charlie Benell of Pacific Palisades, Calif., Peter Gullickson of Spokane, Wash., and Jae Kang of Irvine, Calif.

In the Girls Division, Spiranac continued her steady play recording four birdies and four bogeys on the day. Three of her birdies came on par-5's which helped her to remain calm for the more challenging holes.

"I played the par-5's well," Spiranac said. "It helped me stay relaxed going into harder holes especially Nos. 17 and 18."

Seo Hee Moon of Mukilteo, Wash., finished second with a three-day total 6-over-par 222. In a tie for third at 8-over-par 224 were Erynne Lee of Silverdale, Wash., and Casie Cathrea of Livermore, Calif.

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA, the largest Association of its kind, has an annual junior membership (boys and girls ages 12-18) of approximately 5,000 junior golfers from 50 states and 30 foreign countries.

Titleist, the AJGA's National Sponsor, has been the catalyst and driving force behind the Association's success since 1989. Rolex Watch USA, which is in its third decade of AJGA support, became the inaugural AJGA Premier Partner in 2004. In 2007, after 12 years of support, Polo Ralph Lauren became the AJGA's second Premier Partner.

AJGA alumni have risen to the top of amateur, collegiate and professional golf. More than 200 former AJGA juniors currently play on the PGA and LPGA Tours and have compiled more than 350 wins. AJGA alumni include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk, Stewart Cink, Davis Love III, Cristie Kerr, Pat Hurst, Paula Creamer, Brittany Lincicome, Morgan Pressel and Julieta Granada.
