PHOENIX, Ariz. – Known for providing the best golf education, The Golf Academy of America Phoenix campus staff and faculty participated in a two-day training program specifically designed for career colleges and schools.

The “Success Strategies for Effective Colleges and Schools” program – “Investment in Excellence” – was lead by Dr. Scott Fitzgibbon of The Pacific Institute. Nationally known as an educator and student retention expert, Dr. Fitzgibbon’s curriculum teaches the effective thinking skill necessary to achieve personal, professional and organization success.

Success is what The Golf Academy of America aims to provide students, and both campus and staff found the seminar as an opportunity to gain insight into why people think, feel and act the way they do. “The curriculum was unique, as it provided our students and faculty specific techniques for tapping into our existing – but often unused – personal resources. We easily take our own resources for granted, and Dr. Fitzgibbon was able to shed light on how to tap into those resources and to use them to achieve excellence both personally and professionally,” says Tim Eberlein, Director of Golf at the Golf Academy of America and PGA Master Professional.
