TaylorMade-adidas Golf is continuing its CGB line with the introduction of the r7 CGB MAX Rescue, which the company says rounds out the r7 CGB MAX line of clubs.

Similar to the r7 CGB MAX driver and fairway woods, Tom Olsavsky, TaylorMade's senior director of metal wood creation. says the r7 CGB MAX Rescue hybrid features a triangular-shaped club head that allows for a low- and deep-back center of gravity location that makes it easy to launch the ball high and long. The CGB technology  also helps to boost the clubhead's MOI (Moment of Inertia) and stability on off-center hits.

Olsavsky says TMaG's SuperFast technology, consisting of a lightweight grip and ultra-light REAX SuperFast 55-gram graphite shaft by Fujikura, promotes faster swing speed for increased distance. Distance is also enhanced by the shallow club face construction that promotes increased spin to keep the ball in the air longer.

TMaG's r7 CGB MAX Rescue hybrids are available in men's 3-wood (19°), 4-wood (22°) and 5-wood (25°). The 3-wood and 4-wood are available in left-handed. Shaft flexes include S-, R- and M-flex. Women's r7 CGB MAX hybrids come equipped with a RE*AX SuperFast 45-gram graphite shaft in L flex, and are available in 4 and 5. The r7 CGB MAX Rescue line begins shipping in April with a suggested retail price of $240 per club.
