COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP) is proud to announce that they have received a firm commitment from Howard Miller, President of Swing Science regarding his company’s intent to join with the AGCP to help promote custom clubfitting worldwide.

“Although the AGCP is relatively new on the scene our growth has been steady and we continue to grow and take on new challenges to benefit custom clubmakers around the world,” according to Roy Nix, executive director for the AGCP which is based in Columbus, Ga.

The goal of the AGCP is to share the combined knowledge of its membership base to advance the business of Custom Clubfitting. The group not only focuses on the technical side of custom fitting, but also allocates resources to help shop owners become a total business by addressing sales, marketing and operating issues that are prevalent in today’s challenging retail environment.

"This valuable Trade Organization, unlike other groups that often conflict with Member goals is 100% dedicated to the advancement of Custom Clubfitting.  The fact that the group is totally independent and made up primarily of our core customer base made the decision to get behind the AGCP a natural one and long overdue,” according to Howard Miller, President of Swing Science which is headquartered in Indianapolis, Ind.

“We hope that our extensive reach throughout North America and markets abroad will allow us to promote the AGCP Charter throughout the World and help increase their member base while simultaneously gaining valuable exposure with their quality group of Custom Clubmaking Professionals.”

Based in Columbus, GA, the AGCP is dedicated to the promotion and growth of custom fitting worldwide.  To find out more about the AGCP or to become a Member you can call 706.324.7490 or visit www.agcpgolf.com
