Ping Golf has never been a company to "brand'' its technology but that's what it has done with the new K15 Series of metal woods and a hybrid/iron set. The company says the K15 Series of metal woods and fairway woods each feature "Straight Flight'' technology that promote straighter and longer ball flights. Pings says the K15 Series is a "super game improvement'' line, another phrase you haven't heard from the company, which is generally conservative when tossing around catch phrases. That shows the confidence Ping Golf has in the K15 Series, and given the company's history of success with its G2, G5, G10 and G15 lines, that confidence is well warranted.

Ping says "Straight Flight'' technology is achieved by concentrating more weight in the sole near the heel. This visible technology, according to Ping, helps players rotate the club face to a more square impact position, which provides straighter shots. The larger head and face profiles of the driver and fairway woods results in higher MOI for greater forgiveness and increased ball speed.

The K15 driver (suggested retail price $337.50) are available in lofts of 9.5, 10.5 and 12 degrees while the fairway woods (SRP $222.50) are available in 3, 5 and 7.

Ping says the K15 iron/hybrid set allows golfers to customize their sets.  The set configuration offers 5- and 6-irons as well as 5 and 6 hybrids to provide blended set options for golfers who prefer hybrids to mid irons.  A multi-metal iron design combines a large, lightweight titanium face with a 17-4 stainless steel body to increase both forgiveness and launch conditions. Ping says weight saved from the titanium face is allocated to the sole and perimeter to achieve more accuracy and higher ball flights.

The hybrids are available in 3H, 4H, 5H and 6H (SRP $136.25 for steel and $155 for graphite) and the same price for irons 5-9, PW, UW, SW and LW.
