Keiser University College of Golf Student Qualifies for Florida State Amateur Tournament

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — The Keiser University College of Golf proudly announces that student Jeffrey Mann of Port St. Lucie has qualified this weekend for the 94th Florida State Amateur Championship. Mann competed at the PGA Wanamaker Course at the world-acclaimed PGA Village and shot a 74 to tie for first place, then won a dramatic playoff to qualify for the Amateur Championship.

The 94th Amateur Championship will be played at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa's TPC Blue Monster and Jim McLean Signature Courses on June 23-26, 2011. The championship features 168 players from across the state who have placed during one of the state’s 14 qualifying tournaments or earned exemptions.
