GAA Phoenix hires Director of Golf Instruction

PHOENIX, Ariz. – An extensive educational experience starts at the top, and the latest Golf Academy of America (GAA) hire reflects its’ commitment to higher education. GAA is proud to officially announce Pete Huber, a PGA master professional, as the new Director of Golf Instruction.
 
“At GAA we have many success stories that reflect what we teach our students: work hard and share your passion for golf to get the job you want in the golf industry,” says Tim Eberlein, PGA master professional and GAA director of golf. “This is going to be great for the student experience. GAA Phoenix already has a good player development program but now we want to take golf instruction to higher level with all the technology and knowledge we have at the campus.”
 
Pete Huber is a PGA Master Professional and has been teaching golf professionally since 1984. Pete has had the opportunity to learn and train under many of the greatest teachers in golf history and brings a wealth of experience to the Golf Academy of America. He is an expert in the use of video, 3D motion analysis and launch monitor technology for teaching and club fitting and is a certified professional clubfitter. Pete has directed the golf instruction programs at some of the finest resort and country club facilities in the world and has served as Teaching Professional at Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ and as the Director of Golf Instruction at La Paloma Country Club, home of the Westin La Paloma Resort, and Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club, home of the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, in Tucson, AZ and has won the regional PGA Teacher of the Year Award three times.  These are merely a few of the many accomplishments made by the PGA tour competitor and newest member to the Golf Association of America Team.
