IRVINE, CA - FOURTEEN GOLF, the worldwide leader in wedge design with over 20 professional tour victories in 2010, announced today that early summer sell-through numbers for the new TC-710FG forged irons have surpassed all estimations.

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, "We attribute the success of the TC-710FG at retail to their performance. They look great on the shelf and appear like a player's iron but when players hit them they are SURPRISED. They perform like a game improvement iron."

The TC-710FG forged irons were designed and developed within the FOURTEEN GOLF tour program. Touring professionals from around the world provided the engineering team with critical information like the importance of how a club sets up. The mid-size proprietary TC-710FG club head encourages confidence as they appear easy to hit and the positioning of the CG ensures that they are.

The professionals all agreed that consistency and outstanding control is essential to scoring low so the engineers aligned the CG distance and MOI exactly the same for every iron. This precise arrangement produces exactly the same distance or same yardage on every shot and a substantial MOI prevents any errors or miss-hits.

"Our TC-710FG forged irons meet the FOURTEEN GOLF standard. They demonstrate high performance with high style. The TC-710FG forged irons are distinctive, look exceptionally clean at address and provide pure but powerful contact," adds Kamoda.

The TC-710FG forged irons feature a new flat sole shape with a slight heel and toe relief which guarantees that every iron shot is crisp and pure.

The highly attractive, traditionally shaped, iron head is manufactured with soft alloy type S25C steel and features the company's new trapezoid grooves which conform to the new groove rule. This distinctive sharply-edged trapezoidal groove undergoes a mirror-face milling process which precisely and carefully mills each groove for optimal spin.

The company spent years engineering a new trapezoidal shaped groove so the TC-710FG Forged Irons as well as FOURTEEN GOLF's total product line would be in compliance with the new groove regulations effective in 2010 for the professional tours and 2014 for amateurs and tournaments.

The TC-710FG Forged Iron set is offered in a #4 iron through pitching wedge. They are finished with a striking Nickel chrome satin finish. The back portion is enhanced with a mirror finish. The high performance NS Pro-950GH steel shaft is available in both stiff and regular. Suggested retail is $1,299.00.

FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. Its success is critical to the company's overall growth initiative. The feed back they receive from the touring professionals furnish key information for the research and development team.
