Cobra Golf will begin shipping its new Cobra S2 Iron series on Sept. 1. The irons will be available two models - mutli-material S2 and S2 Forged.

The multi-material Cobra S2 Irons, according to the company, feature a cavity design with optimized heel-toe weighting that utilizes lightweight polymer materials for discretionary weight to be pushed low in the heel and toe, to increase MOI (Moment of Inertia).

The S2 iron's Mid-Width Stepped Sole, Cobra Golf says, offers improved turf interaction and the 431 stainless steel clubhead features a polymer topline and toe insert, expanded urethane sole insert and aluminum vibration-dampening back plate that work together to lower CG (Center of Gravity (CG), increase MOI and enhance feel.

Suggested retail price is $744 (4-PW, GW) in steel shafts and $872 for graphite.

The Cobra S2 Forged irons, according to the company, feature forged 1025 Carbon Steel with CNC milled grooves. The 1025 forged carbon steel, Cobra says, provides a soft yet powerful feel at impact, while CNC milled grooves promote consistent trajectories and spin characteristics.

The Cobra S2 Forged Irons will be available in steel shafts (3-PW) with a suggested retail price of $985.
